The practice was founded in  Dundee in 1929 by Dr Noel Nelson.

Initially the practice was run from his own home and then until 1992 was conducted from premises at 2, Garland Place, Dundee.

With increasing service provision the need for more space was recognised and so the  premises were built at the  current location.
