Joomla! CMS (Content Management System)

Joomla! CMS sites with standard components and modules - £FREE with hosting (database INCLUDED)

These sites are database driven Content Management systems that allow you to update your own content via any web browser.

  • Other components, plugins and modules can be installed - just let me know what you want and I'll try to make it so!

Wordpress CMS (Content Management System)

Wordpress is the premier blogging platform and can also be used as a CMS - £FREE with hosting (database INCLUDED). (Not to be confused with the Wordpress.com bloggin system - Wordpress.org supplies the Open Source software for installation on your own hosting and domain.  You will also own your own database with all your content.

Site Hosting

Standard - £5.00 per month*

  • 200MB disk space
  • 512MB monthly bandwidth allowance
  • 1 POP3 email account with unlimited aliases (extra accounts can be purchased at £10 per year per account)
  • Full site statistics via your browser
  • SpamExperts hardware spam filters.
  • Joomla! or Wordpress installed and kept up to date*.

*Content Maintenance & eMail Support is charged at £25 per update or support request.

Full Maintenance - £30 per month

  • Standard hosting as above, plus...

  • Unlimited content updates and eMail support with 24hr turn-a-round for updates to content.  In effect Scotsfox manages your site for you.

Minimum hosting term is 1 year, payable in advance.

Scotsfox does not deal with 3rd party hosts - all Scotsfox Sites are hosted by Scotsfox.

Domain Names

Registration and Administration £25 per year.

REMEMBER domains are always registered in your name not mine.

Additional Bandwidth & Disk Space

Excess is charged at 1p per additional MB. For example if your allowance is increased to 1024MB then an extra £5.12 payable, so Standard Hosting with the extra bandwidth would cost £10.12 per month. The standard 512MB allotted should be more than enough for a small business or personal site, however. Bandwidth is measured monthly and excess is charged annually at renewal.

Extra disk space, over the allotted 200MB, can be purchased for 10p per MB per month.
